The scientific-informative journal “Sever i rynok: formirovanie ekonomicheskogo poryadka” was founded in 1998 by the first director of the Institute for Economic Studies, corresponding member of RAS Gennady Pavlovich Luzin.

The journal publishes articles devoted to the analysis and forecast of changes in the economy and social sphere in different countries, regions, and local areas. The main purpose of the journal is to provide the scientific community and practitioners with an opportunity to review the research findings in the sphere of scientific support of the economy of territories, and to participate in the discussion of these issues.
