Abstract. Corporate social responsibility (CSR) is widely regarded as a normative framework for responsible business conduct in contemporary Russian society. At the same time, there is no consensus on the definition and structure of CSR, which underscores the importance of systematizing existing theoretical approaches. Despite the development of institutional conditions for CSR implementation at both national and international levels, business engagement in CSR activities remains uneven. As an important instrument for regional development and improving the quality of life in local communities, CSR is particularly significant in the regional context. This study focuses on CSR implementation in the Murmansk Region, part of the Russian Arctic. An empirical sociological survey was conducted at a major public company in Murmansk using an online questionnaire among employees  (n = 490) in order to identify their needs regarding CSR measures and their level of satisfaction with CSR implementation.  The results indicate that the company’s sustainable development policy is characterized by a comprehensive approach covering key areas of employees’ social well-being and related needs. However, predominantly moderate levels of satisfaction, along with expressed demand for additional support measures, suggest the need for further development of the company’s CSR policy.  The findings contribute to the understanding of CSR implementation in Arctic conditions and may be useful for businesses  in designing and improving corporate social packages in regions of operation, as well as for further research on the effectiveness  of CSR strategies.
